1975 Chris Craft Commander Flush Deck 41

Marine Power 454

Starboard engine oil pressure sending unit failed, 0-120 psi, AC # 6463044

AC Delco no longer produces these sending units, heck, they only list them as not available in their catalogs.

Anyone have a good replacement part number or resource.

And no, the generic Sierra sending unit will not work, it is high resistance closed, low resistance with pressure. AC unit is low pressure closed, high resistance with pressure.

Thank You,

Your local NAPA store will have an equivalent.

Summit has equivalents.

The big box auto stores will also probably have them but the cross checking will be difficult for their counter guys.

The biggest variations are in the sender base thread size and the signal wire terminal. The terminals come as spade, screw terminal and the slide stud type. You could modify the wiring to take any of these if you so desire but if you go to the Summit website, you can go through their list and see the exact equivalent part.

Threads are either 1/8NPT or 1/4NPT.

The likely Summit no. is PS157. Can't tell exactly unless I could see yours.
