BOAT WINDOWS MESSAGE TO CCCC....

Hi all,
Looking for a little help (information really) about upgrading the original windows on our 1966 Chris Craft Commander 38' Sedan Hardtop. Our boat was the 4th of 29 built in 1966. It's in great shape and is located in the San Francisco Bay Area. We would like to replace the side windows in both the salon and lower cabin with framed double paned windows. Hoping one or more members of the CCCC has had experience and/or contact information for this kind of project. Thank you.

Like house windows?

I've never seen double pained windows on a boat, even new ones.

A search brings up several custom manufacturers and that is probably the only option.  As a good friend, an Hungarian engineer always told me, "For money, is can be done."

Keep us posted.
