Hi all,

I am still in the market for a boat. It's either a Commander 27 or a Dyer 29. Would prefer a well powered single, but will consider twinscrews. Well maintained is important, but don't need a show queen. Cash buyer, have looked at several of them, but none in good shape.

If anyone has considered selling, or knows someone contemplating selling, can you let me know?

I don't know what part of the country you are in ,but, there is a pretty nice 27 for sale on Jacksonville Fl craigslist . It used to be at our marina and it seemed to be a very well maintained boat .

I could do more research if you need me to

Tony, thank you. I see larger Commanders on Jax CL, but not a 27. Am I missing something?  Any hunting would be appreciated. Thanks

I may have been mistaken . I think it is on Facebook marketplace .

I will check and let you know

Tony, thank you, but I am looking for the 'old school' commanders built in the late 60s/early 70s. Thank you for grabbing this for me, though.

There is a 27 listed on pop yachts in Biddeford Maine.

Thanks Nat..but that thing has been for sale for over a year, and there is moss growing inside it. It's a project, not what I'm looking for.
