There are a number of useful settings you can make to tailor the Forum to your needs. 

Getting E-mail Notification About New Posts

  1. Click the Forum Tab in the top navigation menu.
  2. Scroll down to the bottom of the page.
  3. Click on Follow - e-mail me when there are new discussions.
  4. If applicable, click again to Stop notifications.

Notes:

  • Activating this feature applies to new posts only, not to replies made to posts. To get notifications of replies go to the next section.
  • When you get e-mail notifications you can read the text in the post but you cannot reply via e-mail. To reply you need to go to this site, use the link provided in the notification.
  • In the notification you will not see photos or video posted within the post.
  • Depending on your personal settings you can get notifications instantly or as daily compilation of notifications

Getting Notifications About Replies to Posts

As the default you will get notifications when someone replies to a forum topic you started.To switch off notifications:

  1. Locate and open the forum post. Easiest way to find it is to go to your My Page tab. Your post will be in the center column under the Activities headline.
  2. Scroll to the bottom of the page.
  3. Click the link Stop Following – Don't email me when people reply

If you want to get notifications when someone else replies to a forum topic started by another member other than yourself:

  1. Locate and open the forum post.
  2. Scroll to the bottom of the page.
  3. Click the link Follow –  e-mail me when people reply

Sorting of Posts

You can change the way post are sorted:

  1. Click the Forum Tab in the top navigation menu.
  2. The posts with the most recent activity are shown.
  3. To change sort order use the Sort by drop down menu
