I haven't to got the final bill yet each tank was around $1,650 each and about $3,000 to install and remove old ones.   So you are looking at around $6,500.   Well worth it if you have fuel problems..

Chris, good to know. Curious to learn of your fuel performance when available. I bought my tanks through Onekama Marine, Onekama, MI who also installed them for me. You could call and ask for Ted Bromley and tell him I referred you. I don't yet have the plaquerts to know the company who made them. I recall Ted saying they were in Florida. My tanks are 140 gallon each aluminum expoy coated. Thanks, Mark

Chris,

You can certainly replace the glass on a 38 . But I'm not sure what you mean by a "more modern window" .

I have replaced most of the glass on my 38 but (and other Commanders) other than the sliding tracks I haven't replaced any of the hardware.
