I have a 1973 41' flush deck with the 427's.  I'm wondering what engine oil I should use when I change it out.  I'm new to these big boats.  ThanksBrgds/JamesContinue

Mr. Shoemaker. We bought our boat About May of last year. I believe it was near Arrowhead Marina. We moved across the lake to Hi-Lift in June. It is closer to home. We've had no work done yet and hope to avoid doing so. We are both retired and we go out doing the week mostly. May do a few weekends this season. Look forward to meeting you and seeing that boat of yours.

Thomas was the person i saw with your boat last summer when it was on A dock at Arrowhead. I think it is a great purchase and as you say, with some TLC will be a very comfortable vessel

Look forward to meeting you in person. I too am hoping to de-winterize sometime in mid-to-late March. I am out of Tulsa, so makes for a short trip vs your longer commute from KC.

I am familiar with your boat. It was docked a few slips away from mine at Arrowhead Yacht Club on A dock early last summer. Not sure if you owned it at that point or not. How long have you owned the boat?

Would love to connect this summer and possibly do some cruising and rafting up. Look forward to meeting you sometime. I am in slip A15 at Arrowhead.
