A message from Dallas, Tx.
Greetings, I am in the midst of dismantling a 38 CC wood, and it has a enclosed area behind the steering with folding doors making the enclosure. The hard top extends a good distance leaving about 3 ft. of open on the back. The top would be available, if you are not adverse to getting your hands dirty. I will take some pictures, let me know if this would be of any interest.
Hey Russell
Your boat is featured on the home page of the website in the picture box. Wow! It's a great shot of the 47' Commander. The lake sure was calm that day and for P.K. that hardly ever happens.
It was great to meet you in person yesterday Russell. Everyone else on this chat seems to be from up north from us. We have alot in common expept you have a bigger boat than me. LOL! Here's a link to the Chris Craft parts people http://www.chrisparts.com/. It's also located somewhere here in Commander Club website.
I'll give you a call. Do you all live in Graford or in the big City?
Villa Marina. I know it very well. Is that 57' Chris Craft Constellation still there? Your not to far from Hell's Gate. I'm down the road from you in Fort Worth. I'd sure like to see that 47 footer sometime. We don't have any on Eagle Mountain Lake. We only have (2) 42' Commanders , (3) 410 Commanders, (1) 31 Commander Sedan, (1) 27 Commander. I can help you with parts sometimes if you need. We have a couple of old Chris Crafts in the graveyard that were getting parts off of.
Russell , what marina do you have your 47 parked at?
