Saw some bad weather and pretty serious marina damage at Lake Lewisville. Looks like a whole marina structure failed due to sleet. Hope you guys missed that.

Trey,

Yes, my boat is at Lakeview Marina on Lewisville Lake. I would interested in what you know about her history. You can email what you know to bobjr7747@yahoo.com at your leisure.

Thanks!

I saw some of your thread with the 47 on PK. That is a great lake and if you are ever in this neck of the woods we would welcome a visit. Where exactly do you keep your 42?

Another question I have is you had her painted in 2012, why paint and I assume the same basic color? She looks great and brand new from the pics. I am Jealous! Our boat has some dings and dents and that is fine why I learn how to dock and get a feel for her. That said I want to touch up the stripes and one time, for a brief moment, I thought about touching up gel coat or perhaps painting. I seem to remember you had some damage done with a tornado?? or something like that. I hate to think what these things cost to paint.

Also, do you varnish the panels on the helm or just use teak oil? Our toe rails are good (Minwax Helmsman), but other hatches, panels, ladders and swim decks need attention. What do you do for yours?

Thanks for the help...
Dale

Ps tried to send this by email, but with an iPad it seems I have to stick to using the comment section. Beats me
